Summary

A dated bathroom floor can make the whole space feel tired. This project called for the removal of worn lino and the installation of a fresh, wood-effect LVT floor. The client wanted something easy to maintain and more modern for their Cheltenham home.

The Work

Removed existing lino and disposed of old material
Disconnected and removed the basin and toilet for proper access
Supplied and installed 6mm ply to level and prepare the subfloor
Fitted wood-effect LVT flooring and a new door threshold
Reinstalled the toilet and basin after finishing the floor

The Outcome

The bathroom now feels brighter and cleaner, thanks to the new flooring. The wood-effect LVT gives the room a modern look, and the smooth finish makes cleaning simple. Every detail, from the floor prep to refitting the fixtures, helped bring the space up to date.
